How much does it cost to join?
Membership for the 2018-2019 season is 45. This covers the entrance to all of the meetings.
There is a nominal charge for refreshments.
There is an extra charge for members of the portrait group to cover the extra hall hire.

Is there an age limit?
The only restriction is that as the club meets in the evenings members should be over 16 years old.

Do you have a trial period?
People are welcome to attend two or three meetings for free.
After this number we ask people to join.

Can I join part way through the year?
Yes. Membership subscription would then be charged on a pro-rata basis.

Do I need a sophisticated camera?
Good photographs can be taken with virtually any modern camera.
If you later decide to upgrade your equipment you will find plenty of members willing to give advice.

Do I need to bring a camera to the meetings?
Apart from the portrait group and one or two practical evenings during the season a camera is not required.

There is no requirement to enter the club competitions and some members chose not to, preferring to enjoy other members images.
